Pecan Puffs

Ingredients

  • ½ cup softened butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped or ground
  • 1 cup flour
  • Confectioners sugar
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees

Directions

  1. Beat butter until soft
  2. Add sugar and vanilla and blend until creamy
  3. Stir pecans and flour into the butter mixture
  4. Roll the dough into small balls
  5. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes (note they don’t brown much)
  6. Roll in confectioners sugar while still warm
